The Providence Fund is a not-for-profit corporation that serves as a supporting foundation to Providence Care Centers. The Providence Fund has successfully provided needed equipment for the residents' safety, quality care and comfort through donations given by our Partners in Caring: the Sisters of St. Francis and generous community members and organizations! The Sisters of St. Francis continue their mission to serve Sandusky and the surrounding area by providing Eldercare in very special and unique ways. The Sisters and their caring staff provide for the special needs of the elders with an innovative environment, homelike surroundings and meaningful activities. The Providence Care Center, The Commons of Providence Assisted Living and Specialized Assisted Living Residence for those with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia are designed to bring comfort and security to elderly members of the community. Caring for the elderly is the mission of Providence Care Centers and assisting Providence Care Centers is the mission of The Providence Fund.
The "St. Francis Tree of Life" adorns the wall next to the Chapel at the Providence Care Center. This beautifully sculptured artwork recognizes the gifts given to the ministries of the Sisters of St. Francis through the Providence Fund. Honorarium and Memorial donations are recognized with a brass leaf inscribed as the donor wishes. Other levels of recognition include:

There are many opportunities for giving. A donation may be designated for a specific need or facility, a Memorial, an Honorarium
or it may be placed in a general fund. The Providence Fund assures you that your donation will be used as you choose. All
