What Our Residents Have to Say:

We chose Assisted Living because of our ages. There is no cooking or cleaning. Also the fact that we feel secure in the building along with the fact we have a 24 hr. emergency call system with staff available. The food is good. When we first came here we had an adjustment period, but now we wouldn't change our life style for anything because we couldn't find anything better. The staff is courteous and help is always available.

I feel comfortable about living at The Commons of Providence. It was a transition from Florida to Sandusky, but the staff the the facility make it feel more like home.

"Our mother, Bernice Fredericks, recently passed at the age of 87 after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years ago. She led an active and rewarding life. The last two years of her life she lived in Specialized Assisted Living of The Commons of Providence in Sandusky. The personal care and love she received from the entire staff at the Commons made our mother's last years the best they could be. She became part of The Commons family, which was very comforting for us during times when we could't be here. It became obvious that the staff at the Commons became a big part of our family due to the kindness and care they provided her. She loved the people there as much as the staff loved her. To all the staff at The Commons of Providence we will never forget you.
-Dave Fredericks, Port Clinton.
